The Taste of Monaghan committee is thrilled to announce the return of the Monaghan Street Food Festival in 2022. The event will take place on Saturday the 1st of October from 11 AM - 7 PM and will be free to the general public. This one-day festival will be a celebration of quality food, dining, and crafts that are available throughout County Monaghan. The event will be hosted in the heart of Monaghan town from the Diamond through to Church Square.

On Saturday the 1st of October the road from the front of the courthouse at Church square to the Diamond will be
closed off to traffic to create a carnival-style atmosphere in town with street art, entertainment for all the family,
music and smells that invigorate the taste buds. As a five-time Top 10 Food Destination, Monaghan is recognized
for its food culture and has tastes for every palette. The Street Food Festival is a place for locals and visitors to try
new things and connect with producers responsible for the bounty offered in the drumlins.

As this event is free to the public it would not be possible to run the event without the support of generous sponsors.
