Monaghan Christmas Street Food Festival 2026

The Monaghan Christmas Street Food Festival is back for 2026! Following the fantastic response to our summer festival, we’re bringing the festive celebrations back to the heart of Monaghan Town for one magical day on Saturday, 21st November, from 11am to 5pm.
 

Join us for a wonderful festive day filled with delicious street food, unique crafts, live entertainment and plenty of Christmas cheer.
 

Monaghan will be the place to be for Christmas that weekend, with the Christmas Street Food Festival taking place on Saturday, 21st November, followed by the Monaghan Christmas Tree Lighting event on Sunday, 22nd November. 
 

It’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend of Christmas celebrations, bringing families, visitors, local businesses, food producers and craftspeople together in the heart of Monaghan Town.

The Street Food Festival will take place from 11am to 5pm, stretching from Church Square to The Diamond, with delicious food, festive treats, local crafts, Christmas shopping, entertainment and plenty of festive atmosphere.
 

The streets of Monaghan Town will come alive with festive entertainment, Christmas music and plenty of atmosphere throughout the day. Visitors can browse a wonderful selection of craft stalls featuring handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, local products and unique finds, making it the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas shopping while supporting local makers and businesses.
 

Communal dining areas will create a warm and welcoming space to sit, relax and enjoy your food, making the festival a great day out for families, friends and visitors of all ages.
